Gambling addiction is nothing new. Research in the area, however, is something that’s recently expanded here at UBC.

Even though gamblers know the odds are stacked against them, they still gamble anyway. But why? Luke Clark, Director of the Centre for Gambling Research, joins Ira on UBC Arts on Air to address that question. He also discusses the new gambling research centre, his interest in the topic and the importance of facilitating more gambling research in British Columbia.
